The XD-S Mod.2 is for someone wants a small, powerful pistol for self-defense. Engineered in a slim, single-stack frame it's got a higher hand position, enhanced grip texturing and thin slide for comfortable carry all day and unrelenting reliability when called upon. When an optic is not present, an included seamless polymer cover plate installs with ease and adds additional slide serrations. Featuring a hammer-forged barrel; steel sights, front blade includes a tritium insert for easy acquisition in low light; standard Picatinny accessory rail on the dust cover accepts lights and lasers for enhanced versatility; two mechanical safety safeties and a separate grip safety; foolproof loaded chamber indicator located; a milled slide for low-profile, direct mounting of micro red dots. Includes a Crimson Trace CTS-1500, soft case, 5rd and 6rd magazine.
